Producers' inventories of industrial finished products in Croatia at the end of September increased by 4.4% from the previous month and by 3.8% from September 2019, according to data from the National Bureau of Statistics (DZS).
Month on month, energy inventories increased the most, by 15.4%, those of intermediate goods rose by 6.8% and inventories of non-durable consumer goods by 1.6%. On the other hand, inventories of durable consumer goods fell by 4.1% and those of capital goods by 2.5%.
Year on year, inventories of intermediate goods increased by 8.5%, those of durable consumer goods by 5%, energy inventories by 3.4% and inventories of non-durable consumer goods by 0.6%. Inventories of capital goods decreased by 2.8%.
Compared with August 2020, inventories in the manufacturing industry rose by 4.6%, while those in the mining and quarrying sector remained unchanged. Compared with September 2019, inventories in the manufacturing industry increased by 4.3%, while those in mining and quarrying fell by 5.8%.
