Serbia's Health Ministry said on Wednesday that over the last 24 hours, 21 patients died of the coronavirus-related ailments, bringing the total number of deaths to 936, and out of 12,514 tested people 3,536 were confirmed infected with the coronavirus.

The mortality rate stood at 1,33 percent.

Since the outbreak of the epidemic, 1,455,156 people have been tested, and 70,424 have been confirmed infected.

The Ministry said that on Wednesday 2,959 patients were in hospital care, including 143 on ventilators.
