The main Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) indices jumped for the second day on Tuesday, reaching the highest levels since early March.
The Crobex rose by 1.3% to 1,695 points and the Crobex10 by 0.96% to 1,058 points, reflecting the positive mood on global markets in light of progress in developing a coronavirus vaccine.
Turnover at the close of the regular trading session reached HRK 17.6 million, which is 8 million lower than on Monday. An additional HRK 31.5 million was generated by a block transaction with the preferred stock of the Adris insurance and tourism group at HRK 420 per share.
In the regular session, the Adris stock generated the highest turnover, of HRK 3.48 million, closing at HRK 375 per share, down 0.79%.
The stock of telecommunications equipment manufacturer Ericsson Nikola Tesla turned over HRK 3.47 million. Its price jumped by 2.04% to HRK 1,500 per share, its highest level since mid-February.
Investor focus was also on the 7CRO ETF investment fund, On the first day of its listing it generated a turnover of HRK 3.38 million at HRK 101.7 per share.
The Podravka food company stock turned over HRK 2.89 million, closing at HRK 460 per share, up 1.55% from Monday.
A total of 43 stocks traded on the ZSE today, with 23 of them recording share price increases, 14 registering share price decreases and six remaining stable in price.
