Coronavirus: Serbia reports 5,613 new cases, 27 deaths

The Serbian Health Ministry said in its daily 3:00 pm bulletin on Wednesday that 27 people died of coronavirus-related ailments over the previous 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 1,081.

It said that 18,040 people had been tested over the previous 24 hours, including 5,613 who tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

The total number of people tested to date stands at 1,555,000 with 97,988 confirmed cases.

The bulletin said that there are 5,317 active cases, including 182 patients on ventilators.
