The average monthly net wage for September in Croatia was 6,747 kuna (€892), a slight 0.4 percent drop in real terms month-on-month and 3.4 pct up year-on-year, the state statistics burau said on Friday.

The average net pay for September 2020 increased by 0.4% in nominal termscompared to August and by 3.4% compared to September 2019.

The highest average net pay for September was in the manufacture of refined petroleum products, HRK 10,175, while the lowest was in security and investigation activities, HRK 4,370.

The median net wage for September amounted to HRK 5,757, which means that half the employed had a wage below that amount and the other half a wage above that amount.

The average hourly net pay in September was HRK 37.94, dropping by 3.6% compared to August and by 0.8% compared to September 2019.
