Croatia's tax authority says coronavirus epidemic slashed retail sales 17 pct
In the nine months of the coronavirus pandemic in Croatia, from 24 February to 22 November, the value of fiscalized retail receipts which are all automatically tracked by tax authorities dropped by little over 26 billion kuna (€3.4 billion), or 17 percent, compared to the same period the year before, indicating a sharp drop in retail sales.
