Kosovo's Public Health Institute said on Tuesday that over the last 24 hours, 13 more patients died from COVID-19 complications and that out of 1,590 tested people 609 were confirmed infected with the coronavirus.

Since the epidemic outbreak, 134,318 people were tested, while 35,549 samples have come back positive for the virus.

The death toll stood at 939, while 21,746 patients have recovered.

The Institute said that on Tuesday there were 12,864 active cases.
