In the last 24 hours, out of 6,127 tests performed for coronavirus in Slovenia, 1,744, that is 28.46%, have returned positive, while 43 COVID-related deaths have occurred, bringing the death toll to 2,041, the government reported on Saturday.
Currently, there are 1,276 COVID-19 patients in hospitals, 28 more than on Friday, and 192 of them are being treated in intensive care wards.
Since the outbreak of the epidemic, Slovenia has conducted nearly 600,000 coronavirus tests and 95,481 have returned positive.There are now 21,150 active cases.
