The Serbian Health Ministry said in its daily 3:00 pm bulletin on Tuesday that 53 people died of coronavirus-related ailments over the previous 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 2,433.

It said that 18,989 people had been tested over the previous 24 hours, including 5,884 who tested positive for the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.

The total number of people tested to date stands at 2,065,445 with 277,248 confirmed cases.

The bulletin said that there are 9,320 active cases, including 312 patients on ventilators.
