The Chairman of Bosnia’s tripartite Presidency and its Serb member, Milorad Dodik, tested positive for the coronavirus, the hospital he was admitted to in Bosnia’s semi-autonomous Republika Srpska (RS) entity said on Tuesday.
“Mr. Milorad Dodik’s health condition is stable, he is feeling well and receiving adequate therapy,” the University Clinical Center of Republika Srpska (UKC RS) said.
Dodik was admitted to the UKC RS on Sunday evening due to nausea and stomach pain. His office said on Saturday that he went into home isolation after he had contact with a person who had tested positive for the virus. However, it said that Dodik also got tested but the result came back negative that day.
“Bilateral pneumonia was diagnosed, and the third test for the novel coronavirus was positive,” the latest statement by the UKC RS said.
