Croatia's major retailer Konzum starts accepting cryptocurrency payments

One of Croatia's largest retail chains, Konzum, announced they would start accepting cryptocurrency payments in its online shop, state agency Hina said on Wednesday, citing the company's press release.

Nine cryptocurrencies will be accepted in Konzum's online shop: bitcoin (BTC), ether (ETH), bitcoin cash (BCH), EOS, DAI, ripple (XRP), stellar lumen (XLM), tether (USDT) and USDC. They will be accepted as form of payment for more that 12,000 products on offer.

Payment with cryptocurrencies has been introduced in cooperation with the Croatian fintech company Electrocoin and its PayCek system, the first Croatian cryptocurrency payment processor.
