Group of Croatian fans, accompanied by police, chant "We will slaughter Serbs"

A group of men marched through Borovo Selo, singing "Oh, Croatia, mother, we will slaughter Serbs" (“Oj Hrvatska, mati, Srbe cemo klati”), followed by a police car.

The video published on the Facebook page of the Municipality of Borovo shows a group of men marching on Sunday morning and changing, among other things "kill the Serbs."

N1 learned that the police have established the identity of members of a fan group who came to lay a wreath in Borovo Selo around six in the morning, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the murder of 12 members of the Vinkovci Special Police Unit who were killed in an ambush in Borovo in 1991.

After the police officers determined that this group of fans violated public order and peace, all of them were identified and a criminal investigation is underway, N1 Zagreb reported.

Some media report that they are fans of Hajduk Split FC.
