Report: Croatian health care system spent €400m combating Covid pandemic to date

The Croatian parliament on Friday adopted the government report on measures taken in the last quarter of 2021 to curb the coronavirus pandemic.

Since the start of the pandemic, the national health care fund HZZO spent 3 billion kuna (€400 million) for coronavirus tests and the treatment of Covid patients, including 850 million kuna (€113 million) spent over the last trimester of 2021.

During the same period, some 1.4 million vaccine shots were administered to Croatians.
