In 2020, the consolidated net loss of enterprises in Sibenik-Knin County was 226.4 million kuna (€30 million), whereas in 2019 they netted 45.2 million kuna (€6 million) in profit, according to Financial Agency data.

Last year, 2,653 enterprises were based in Sibenik-Knin County and had 12,336 employees, 6.9 percent fewer than in 2019.

Their revenues totalled 6.9 billion kuna (€920 million), down 20.1% on the year, while expenditures dropped 17.3 percent to 7.1 billion kuna (€940 million).

Their profits were 401.1 million (€53.3 million), down 9.8 percent compared to 2019, while losses went up 57.1 percent to 627.6 million kuna (€83.3 million).

In 2020, the exports of Sibenik-Knin County enterprises dropped 26.8 percent to 985.8 million kuna (€131 million), while imports fell 62.9 percent to 453.7 million kuna (€60.2 million), resulting in a 532.1 million kuna (€70.6 million) trade surplus.

Their gross investment in new long-lasting assets totalled 314.9 million kuna (€41.8 million), up 4.6 percent on 2019.

The average monthly net salary paid in those enterprises was 5,342 kuna (€709), down by 2.1 percent on 2019 and by 10.5 percent on the national average.
