The Croatian non-profit association "PoVUcizakulturu" will promote original Croatian toys in Brussels on Saturday as part of a series of events celebrating Europe Day.
The association will hold a day-long workshop on authentic Croatian toys.
“This is the right opportunity to present something which I believe has authentic cultural value,” said a Croatian member of the European Parliament, Tonino Picula, who had invited the association to come to Brussels for this event.
The association will take part in the events for this year’s Open Day in the European Union’s institutions. The cultural focus of the celebrations will be to mark the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018.
To celebrate Europe Day, the annual celebration of peace and unity in Europe, the EU institutions will open their doors to the public in Brussels on May 5, in Luxembourg on May 5 and 9, and in Strasbourg on June 10.
