US Attorney General arrives in Zagreb for a three-day visit

US Attorney General Jeff Sessions arrived in Zagreb on Wednesday on a three-day visit to Croatia, where he will meet with the highest state officials to discuss the US and Croatia’s cooperation in law enforcement, said the US Embassy in Zagreb in a press release.

The Attorney General will stay in Zagreb until May 23, and meet with President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic, Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic, Justice Minister Drazen Bosnjakovic, Interior Minister Davor Bozinovic, and the senior official in the Foreign Ministry, Andreja Metelko-Zgombic.

Sessions is also scheduled to attend a regional workshop on transnational organised crime which will be held at the Zagreb’s Police Academy, along with chief state prosecutors from six countries in the region – Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Kosovo, Montenegro, and Serbia.

This is the first official visit by a US Attorney General to Croatia, the press release said.
