An agreement on completing the construction of a Zagreb building housing the Southeast European centre for entrepreneurship competence (SEECEL) was signed on Wednesday by Economy Minister Darko Horvat and the companies -- Strabag, Strabag Property and Facility Services -- that conduct the finishing work, estimated at HRK 70.5 million without VAT
The companies are expected to resume the construction of the SEECEL headquarters in Zagreb’s suburb of Kajzerica this September.
SEECEL stands for South East European Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning, a non-profit organisation, initiated by the following eight countries: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, North Macedonia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Serbia and Turkey. Supported by the European Commission and Croatian Government, activities include entrepreneurial learning as a key competence in education training needs analysis (TNA) for existing entrepreneurs with special focus on women entrepreneurs, and policy support, best practices and examples covering female entrepreneurship.
The construction of the facilities started in 2014 with another two companies – Zagregradnja and Geoprojekt — and their contract was cancelled last year when those companies had discontinued the work. The value of the work they conducted stands at HRK 106 million without VAT. They did a majority of construction and wiring work on the centre.
