President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic on Thursday received leaders of the European business association BusinessEurope and representatives of its member organisations, her office said in a press release.
BusinessEurope brings together 40 employer associations from 35 European countries. Their representatives are currently in Zagreb for a meeting of the Council of Presidents on December 5 and 6 ahead of the Croatian presidency of the European Union in the first half of next year.
BusinessEurope organises a meeting of presidents of its member organisations every six months in a country due to take over the EU presidency.
During the meeting, Grabar-Kitarovic presented the priorities of the Croatian presidency, expressing hope that Croatia would further strengthen the concept of united Europe and contribute to the development of a better European present and future, the press release said.
