ZAGREB, March 21 (Hina) - The number of those infected with COVID-19 in Slovenia has reached 383, 42 more cases than on Friday at 2 p.m., the Health Ministry said on Saturday.
To date, 12,162 tests have been done and the highest number of those infected is in the central part of the country and in the capital Ljubljana.
One person has died to date, an elderly many on March 13. A number of hospitalised patients are on ventilators and in critical condition.
Of those infected, 113 are in the 30-49 age group, 71 are aged 16-29 and 60 are aged 50-59.
A majority of Slovenians believe the measures the government has taken to curb the epidemic are not too strict and 58% believe they should be stricter, according to a poll whose findings were published today.
Nearly one-fifth of respondents fear they will lose their income or job because of the virus and certain restrictions. Fifty-five percent said they could not work from home.
The government said that on Monday it would propose a bill on measures to be in force for the duration of the epidemic, including pay incentives for services which are most exposed to extra work.
