The new wave of coronavirus hit North Macedonia, which recorded 120 cases of infection in the 24 hours since Wednesday, the highest daily number since the outbreak of the pandemic, the Beta news agency reported on Thursday.
In the last 24 hours, 953 people were tested, the country’s Health Minister Venko Filipce wrote on his Facebook profile.
He wrote that two more people died and that the death toll currently stands at 147, while 1,621 recovered.
Since the beginning of the epidemic, 2,611 people were tested positive, and 843 remain positive.
