Another 62 coronavirus cases in Bosnia, more than 3,000 tested positive so far

Bosnia recorded 62 new coronavirus cases among the 1,148 samples tested over the past 24 hours and the number of people who tested positive for the virus so far now surpasses 3,000.

Of the 832 people tested in Bosnia’s Federation (FBiH) region, 24 were positive while in the other semi-autonomous entity, Republika Srpska (RS), tested 316 people of whom 38 were positive.

The new cases in FBiH were registered in the Tuzla, Zenica-Doboj, Herzegovina-Neretva and Sarajevo cantons.

The new cases registered in the RS are in Doboj, Kostajnica, Banja Luka, Zvornik, Ugljevik, Modrica, Prijedor, Kotor Varos, Bratunac and Trebinje.

So far more than 160 people have died due to COVID-19 across Bosnia and Herzegovina, while more than 2,100 have recovered.
