The average net salary in Serbia in July reached 504,44 Euro (60,029 Dinars), which is nominally 9.3 percent more than in the same month in 2019, while the real increase was seven percent, according to the Republic Bureau of Statistics' statement on Friday.
The average gross wage was 705,62 Euro (83,016 Dinars), 9.2 percent higher in nominal terms and 7.1 percent in real terms compared to the same period last year.
The median net salary was 388,87 Euro (45,736 Dinars), which means that 50 percent of employees had a salary up to that amount.
The growth of net wages in the period January-July this year compared to the same period last year was 9.3 percent in nominal terms and 7.9 percent in real terms.
At the same time, gross wages were 9.5 percent in nominal terms and 7.9 percent in real terms.
