Herbert Dorfmann for N1: Farming must be made interesting for young people

Dorfmann is an Italian agronomist from South Tyrol, the German-speaking region of Italy bordering Austria. He is a member of the European People's Party alliance and member of the European Parliament's Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development.

In the interview, Dorfmann talked about the new CAP which is planned to come into effect in early 2021, the issue of securing food supply across the continent, and the importance of helping rural communities which often depend on agriculture.
