All activities incorporated in the fiscalisation system saw a decrease of 15% in the number of fiscalised receipts issued compared the corresponding week last year and the value of issued receipts was down 8%, data released by the Tax Administration on Monday indicates.
In the period from 2 to 8 November this year a total of 35 million receipts were issued, which is 15% fewer than in the corresponding week last year.
The total value of fiscalised receipts in that week amounted to HRK 3.03 billion, which is HRK 275 million or 8% less year-on-year.
Compared to the week before that, from 26 October to 1 November 2020, the number of receipts was down by one percent w-o-w while their value increased by two percent.
The number of receipts issued in retail remained unchanged while their value increased by 3%. In hospitality and tourism, however, the number of receipts issued and their value remained unchanged on the week.
From the start of the crisis caused by coronavirus, from 24 February to 8 November 2020 the number of fiscallised receipts was down 25% while their value was down by 17% compared to the corresponding period in 2019.
