The Serbian Health Ministry said in its daily 3:00 pm bulletin on Friday that 17 people died of coronavirus-related ailments over the previous 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 972.

It said that 14,116 people had been tested over the previous 24 hours, including 3,499 who tested positive for the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.

The total number of people tested to date stands at 1,482,2806 with 77,264 confirmed cases.

The bulletin said that there are 3,564 active cases, including 158 patients on ventilators.
