Bosnian court convicts man who had joined Islamic State in Syria

According to the Prosecution, the accused admitted to departing for Syria where he joined a paramilitary formation acting within the so-called Islamic State which the UN Security Council declared a terrorist organisation.

The Prosecution proposed a two-and-a-half-year sentence for Alisic which the Court accepted and declared him guilty as charged.
