Emir Alisic, born 1970 in Sanski Most, pleaded guilty to all the charges in the indictment against him, in the presence of his attorney, Fena news agency reported Tuesday.

According to the Prosecution, the accused admitted to departing for Syria where he joined a paramilitary formation acting within the so-called Islamic State which the UN Security Council declared a terrorist organisation.

The Prosecution proposed a two-and-a-half-year sentence for Alisic which the Court accepted and declared him guilty as charged.
