After falling for eight months, Croatia's industrial turnover rose by 1.6% in November 2020 compared with the the same month of 2019 and by 5.2% compared with October 2020, according to data from the National Bureau of Statistics (DZS).
Compared with October 2020, sales of energy declined by 19.3%, sales of non-durable consumer goods by 1.1% and sales of durable consumer goods by 0.9%, while sales of intermediate goods rose by 5.5% and sales of capital goods by 0.9%.
In November 2020, compared with the previous month, industrial turnover increased by 6.4% on the domestic market and by 6.0% on the non-domestic market.
Compared with November 2019, industrial turnover rose by 1.6%, declining by 6.9% on the domestic market and increasing by 15.2% on the non-domestic market.
Sales of energy fell by 52.6%, sales of capital goods by 8.5% and sales of durable consumer goods by 0.3%, while sales of intermediate goods rose by 13.5% and sales of non-durable consumer goods by 10.1%.
In the year to November 2020, industrial turnover was 7.0% lower than in the same period of 2019, with sales decreasing by 6.8% on the domestic market and by 7.1% on the non-domestic market.
