Industrial turnover in February down by 7.7 pct year-on-year

Croatia's industrial turnover rose by 2.2 percent in February 2021 compared with January 2021, and it dropped by 7.7 percent compared with February 2020, show data by the national statistical office (DZS). Pročitaj više

Compared with January 2021, the total seasonally and working-day adjusted industrial turnover went up by 1% on the domestic market and by 10.7% on the foreign market.

Month on month, energy sales increased the most, by 51.6%, followed by sales of capital goods (+5.2%), intermediate goods (+2.4%) and non-durable consumer goods (+0.2%).

At the same time, sales of durable consumer goods fell by 3.2%.

Compared with February 2020, the total seasonally and working-day adjusted industrial turnover declined by 14% on the domestic market and rose by 4.5% on the foreign markets.

Year on year, energy sales dropped by 39%, sales of capital goods decreased by 22.1%, sales of intermediate goods by 2% and sales of durable consumer goods by 0.1%.

At the same time, sales of non-durable consumer goods increased by 0.7%.
