The Archbishop of Zagreb, Cardinal Josip Bozanic, issued an Easter message on Saturday, recommending prudence and responsible behaviour in view of the coronavirus pandemic and last year's earthquakes. Pročitaj više

“Brothers and sisters, we still feel the deep marks of the earthquakes in various areas of life, and the coronavirus pandemic is not abating either. Quite the contrary, we are witnessing the increased spread of this pestilence. That’s why, while recommending prudence and responsibility in everyday behaviour, I call on us all to offer up our prayers to the almighty God, the only refuge in human impotence, so that in this time of adversity we may all find solace in God’s mercy,” Bozanic said in his message.

He prayed for the health of the people infected with the coronavirus, the strength for medical workers and solace to their families.
