Commenting on a statement by the new CEO of the INA oil company, Sandor Fasimon, about the possible termination of production at the Sisak Refinery, the Economy Minister, Martina Dalic, said on Friday, that “The decision, if it exists, has to be additionally analysed to see if it corresponds to INA’s business policy.

“On the one hand we are talking about a company which is doing business on the market and the state, as part owner, expects it to do profitable business, and, on the other hand, we expect INA to develop its business. In case of any important decisions, it should take Croatian regulations into account. If that decision exists, it needs to be additionally analysed to see whether it fits into INA’s business policy,” Dalic said.

The new chairman of the board of the INA oil company, Sandor Fasimon, announced the closure of plants at the Sisak oil refinery in Budapest on Thursday. He said the workers would be taken care of, and added that INA must continue its successful performance.
