The Children's Hospital in Zagreb has been presented with HRK 150,000 raised at an Erste Card Club dinner to furbish two suites for little patients so that their parents can stay with them.
The donation will help improve the conditions of children’s stay in the hospital and the accommodation will meet contemporary medicine trends so that hospitalised children experience as little stress as possible over being separated from their parents.
“As an every-child’s-friend hospital, the Zagreb Children’s Hospital tries, in every aspect of its activity, to meet the high criteria of humanised pediatric healthcare, so this expanded capacity for the accommodation of mother and child is a very important step forward for us,” said hospital director Goran Roic.
The “Dine for Change” fundraising dinner was held on the Diners Club’s 50th anniversary in Croatia.
