UNICEF provided 20 oxygen flowmeters and four neonatology ventilators to clinical centres in central Serbian town of Kragujevac and southern city of Nis, the organisation said on Friday.
Over the next week, UNICEF will donate more neonatology ventilators to the Neonatology Institute, Institute for Mother and Child, the University Children’s Hospital in Belgrade and to the Vojvodina’s Institute for Children and Youths.
Additional 30 oxygen flowmeters will be provided to health institutions in Belgrade, UNICEF said.
UNICEF continues to meet the needs of the entire health system according to the epidemic situation, and it sends an appeal for additional oxygen flowmeters, necessary for patients who don’t need to be put on ventilators.
