The Croatian government on Monday "established a national system for the issuing of EU digital Covid-19 certificates," state agency Hina reported, citing a press release. Pročitaj više

The system is “ready to start operating as of tomorrow, 1 June,” the press release said, adding that “its integration with the European gateway has been completed, which will secure the cross-border interoperability of the certificates.”

In addition to allowing cross-border travel within the EU, the certificate will also be “used for other purposes in line with decisions of the national Covid-19 response team.” Hina did not clarify what kind of other purposes this might refer to.
