Croatia's Sinkovic brothers win gold at World Rowing Championships

Brothers Martin and Valent Sinkovic of Croatia on Saturday defended their title of world champions in the coxless pairs at the FISA World Rowing Championships in the Austrian region of Linz and Ottensheim.

The time of the champions Sinkovic in the final race was 6:42.28. The silver went to the pair from New Zealand: Thomas Murray and Michael Brake (6:45.47), while the Australians — Sam Hardy and Joshua Hicks — won the bronze with their time of 6:51.81.

The Croatian brothers have so far bagged six gold medals from world championships in various events.
