Montenegro's President Milo Djukanovic on Monday congratulated Croatia's President-Elect Zoran Milanovic on his victory and expressed his belief in the continuation of good relations between the two countries.
Djukanovic said that he is looking forward to meetings with Milanovic and the continuation of successful cooperation between Montenegro and Croatia for the benefit of citizens in both countries and the region.
He added that Milanovic's proven dedication to Europe is a "big encouragement for Montenegro as a leader in the EU negotiation process as well as for all countries in the Western Balkans and motivation that we continue with reforms."
Montenegro, said Djukanovic, remains permanently dedicated to nurturing friendly and good-neighbourly relations with Croatia.
