The Homeland Movement parliamentary group on Thursday submitted a motion for an interpellation on the government's work concerning the Krs-Padjene wind park project, supported by 20 opposition MPs, the party's MP Karolina Vidovic Kristo said.
According to the calculations of the experts we hired, in the next 14 years Croatian consumers will pay HRK 2.2 billion more than envisaged by the law, she told the press, explaining the reason for the interpellation.
“The amount Croatian taxpayers will lose is intolerable,” she said, adding that the reason for such a price was “shameless favouring and corruption orchestrated by the HNS, the SDP and the HDZ” parties.
Vidovic Kristo said the interpellation had nothing to do with the “Josipa Rimac affair.”
“That affair is peanuts in comparison with the affair for which are are seeking an interpellation”, she said, confident that it involves many illegal activities, from an agreement with the HROTE energy market operator to a soft loan from the Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
With the interpellation, the Homeland Movement is asking the government to deliver to parliament all contracts and decisions concerning the wind park as well as all relevant decisions by the Energy and Environmental Protection Ministry and the HERA energy regulator.
