Health Minister Vili Beros tweeted on Tuesday that Croatia had the sharpest two-week drop in new infections in the European Union, thanking citizens for complying with Covid-19 measures "and showing a high level of responsibility."
The minister shared a table showing trends in new infections in the EU published in a Johns Hopkins University report.
The table shows that on 11 January Croatia registered the sharpest drop in the EU in the past two weeks, by 46.3%, followed by Luxembourg (-44.8%).
Beros said personal responsibility today represented concrete solidarity with the 29 December earthquake victims and appealed to citizens to continue to be the best at it.
