The Social Democratic Party (SDP) will suspend some of its electioneering activities and will no longer hold rallies and meetings with members of the public, party leader Davor Bernardic said in Cakovec on Friday.

Bernardic said the reason for this decision was an evergrowing number of new coronavirus infections in the country.

He said that the party would conitnue holding press conferences and communicating with voters via social networks.

Bernardic said his recommendation to party members and candidates was to definitely self-isolate if they had been in contact with an infected person.
