President Zoran Milanovic will pay his respects to the suffering of Vukovar during the war by laying a wreath and lighting a candle at the Ovcara memorial on Wednesday on the occasion of Homeland War Victims Remembrance Day and Vukovar and Skabrnja Remembrance Day, his office said on Monday.

Parliament Speaker Gordan Jandrokovic will go to Vukovar on Wednesday and Deputy Speaker Ante Sanader to Skabrnja.

Jandrokovic has invited his other deputies, Zeljko Reiner, Furio Radin, Miroslav Skoro and Sabina Glasovac, to attend the commemoration in Vukovar.
