A total amount of 21 tonnes of anti-COVID protective gear was loaded from the Rio Barrow vessel in the Port of Rijeka, the government's press release office said in a statement on Thursday.

The delivery of the protective equipment, worth €530,000, was sent from Shanghai.

The government managed to procure this shipment from the companies MEHECO and Sinopharm. The shipment includes 100,000 protective suits, 550,000 FFP2 masks and other items.
