One miner was killed and four were injured in an accident that took place on Thursday in the coal mine in Breza, near the capital, said the spokesperson of Bosnia’s public electric power utility company, Midheta Kurspahic.

“Unfortunately, one miner was killed and four were injured. That is the last information we have. An investigation is underway, after which we will know more details about the accident itself,” said Kurspahic.

The accident reportedly happened when the ceiling in one of the rooms in the mine collapsed.
