The Serbian Health Ministry said in its daily 3:00 pm bulletin on Wednesday that 44 people died of coronavirus-related ailments over the previous 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 3,163.

More than 14,440 people had been tested over the previous 24 hours, including 3,236 who tested positive for the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.

The total number of people tested to date stands at 2,283,406 with 334,991 confirmed cases.

The bulletin said that there are 9,014 active cases, including 269 patients on ventilators.
