The Hrvatske Autoceste (HAC) motorway management company said on Wednesday that it had extended the toll free regime on the A11 Zagreb - Sisak motorway until 8 am Monday 4 January.

HAC abolished tolls on the A11 on Tuesday to facilitate emergency vehicles and other traffic heading towards earthquake-stricken areas in Sisak-Moslavina County.

HAC has appealed to citizens who intend to personally deliver goods and donations or medical equipment and do not have a visible Red Cross sticker to apply for free passage on the motorway at the following e-mail address: [email protected].

HAC also appealed to citizens that due to traffic congestion at the entrances to Sisak and Petrinja with columns of vehicles wanting to deliver humanitarian aid to rather donate these goods to their local Red Cross which will then forward the donations to these areas.
