At the end of June, there were 126,232 Croatians out of work, or 16.2 percent down from June 2020, according to the figures released by the national employment service HZZ on Monday.

June was the third month in row with a decline in the jobless numbers year on year. Also, there were 11,798 fewer jobless people in June than in May, a 8.5 percent drop.

As many as 22,611 (17.9 percent) of all jobless people received unemployment benefits in June. The number of people receiving unemployment benefits plummeted by 42.3 percent, or 16,544, year-on-year.
