Croatia had slightly more than 1.57 million people in employment in November 2021, down 0.6 percent from the previous month and up 1.8 percent from November 2020, state agency Hina reported, citing data released by the state statistics bureau showed. 

Croatia’s working population in November 2021 totalled slightly more than 1.69 million, or 0.4 percent down from October.

There were 125,700 unemployed persons, or 1.8 percent up from the previous month, but 19.7 percent down from November 2020.

Hina did not explain the sharp drop in unemployment, but added that the registered unemployment rate in November 2021 was 7.4 percent.
