Serbia’s Coronavirus UPDATE: Seven deaths, 89 newly infected

Over the last 24 hours, seven patients died from COVID-19-related complications and out of 8,327 people tested, 89 were positive for the coronavirus in Serbia, the Health Ministry said on Saturday.

To date, COVID-19 has claimed 6,997 lives in the country. The mortality rate is 0.98 percent.

Currently, 374 people are hospitalised, 15 of them on ventilators.

Since the epidemic outbreak in March 2020, 4,329,845 people have officially been tested, and 715,693 have been confirmed positive for the coronavirus.
