An earthquake measuring 4.3 Richter degrees hit Montenegro on Friday late night, local media reported the morning later.
According to Nova.rs correspondent in the Montenegrin coastal town Herceg Novi, no injuries or significant damage was reported so far.
Montenegro Seismological Centre said the epicentre was located seven kilometres northeast of the town of Krusevica at the depth of 10 kilometres.
“Based on the numerical model of intensity change with distance in this region, earthquake magnitude and epicentre depth, this earthquake could have caused only minor material damage in the epicentral area,” the statement said.
