The Croatian parliament has launched the parleu2020.sabor.hr website for the purposes of communication and presentation of activities related to the parliamentary dimension of Croatia's presidency of the Council of the European Union in the first half of 2020.

The content on the website is available in three languages – Croatian, English and French.

The Croatian Sabor, as the national parliament of the member-country presiding over the Council, is in charge of the parliamentary dimension of the EU presidency, as part of which five inter-parliamentary conferences and meetings will be held in the period from 1 January to 30 June 2020, the Sabor said in a statement.

Topics to be discussed by representatives of national parliaments and the European Parliament are topics of common interest to the EU and national parliaments and arise from the strategic documents of European institutions and the programme and priorities of Croatia’s EU presidency.

The first of the five meetings is to be held by the Conference of Parliamentary Committees for Union Affairs of Parliaments of the European Union (COSAC), to be held in Zagreb on January 19-20.

More information on meetings to be held as part of the parliamentary dimension of the EU presidency is available at https://parleu2020.sabor.hr/hr/dogadanja.

Apart from the website, the Sabor will communicate its activities also via Twitter, YouTube, Flickr and Facebook.
