Chief State Prosecutor hospitalised due to Covid-related respiratory problems

Chief State Prosecutor Zlata Hrvoj-Sipek is receiving hospital treatment due to respiratory problems caused by infection with coronavirus, the Office of the Chief State Prosecutor (DORH) stated on Friday.

“The Chief State Prosecutor is in a stable condition, and upon the completion of her hospital treatment, she will continue her recovery at home,” reads the press release.

Hrvoj-Sipek tested positive for coronavirus on 1 December and since then she has been in isolation.

At the beginning of her isolation, Hrvoj-Sipek performed most of her duties from home. She postponed only the tasks where her physical presence was necessary.

The first Deputy Chief State Prosecutor is Dubravko Palijas.
